Introduction

The department of Hindi, established in 1993,under the Swami Vivekanand Senior College, Mantha Dist – Jalna. Offers common course for the Students of B. A. /B.Sc./B.Com but optional Hindi subject for B. A. Faculty. Two Faculty  members  are  currently   teaching  to  B. A. /B.Sc./B.Com. of the first and second year   to second language hindi and optional hindi subject teaching to B. A. I, II and III year. Our thrust has always been on the student attributes and on holistic development of the students. So that they can display multiple skills in hindi language.

Activities of Department

We celebrate Hindi Divas (14 September) and Vishva Hindi Divas (10 January) every year by conducting various competition such as essay writing, orthography competition, wallposter competition, vocabulary competition etc.on college level organized by our department. Winners of the competition are felicitated with trophy and certificate.
