Introduction

The department of English has its inception simultaneously with the advent in the year 1993 since then, the UG students of various streams are learning General English as part of their curriculum. As a global language and language of knowledge of power. The growing research culture is strength and all facilities of the department are involved in the research activities. Most of the faculty is involved in various curriculum and extra curricular activities of the college and university which enable us to know our students better and help them develop their personality. The department was upgraded as a PG department in the year 2014 and further recognised as a Research Center in English By Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

Objectives of the Department

• To develop interest in English language and literature education among the students.
• To enable the students to know the role of globalness in English education.
• To create employability in the region through provision of knowledge of English literature and language.
• To prepare student for the competitive exam like NET, SET, MPSC, STI and Banking
• To provide practical knowledge to students about English knowledge especially speeking skills and development.
