The Department of Chemistry, established in 2007 keeping in mind the view of to provide higher educational facilities in rural, hilly and remote area of Mantha Tahsil for enhance the economic and social development of this backward area through vision, mission and goals of the institute. The vision, mission and goals of the institution reflect the nature of the management of upliftment poor and rural society people through higher education. Department has Permanent & Qualified faculties and engaged in graduate teaching and departmental activities. All faculty members are active enough and doing research in different field particular in synthesis of heterocyclic compound, green synthetic route for organic transformation and coordination compound and faculty published research work in the journal of national and international repute. Department alumni doing their Ph.D.  at NCL Pune, IIT Indore and ICT Jalna.
